Planning your visit

Accessibility

Information for guests who want to check access before visiting.

Before you arrive

Accessibility information

The Glebe is a historic pub in the heart of old Stoke. We want every guest to feel welcome, comfortable and confident when planning a visit.

Because the building has traditional pub character and historic features, access can vary between different areas of the venue. If you have specific access needs, mobility requirements, sensory concerns or questions before travelling, please contact the team and we will do our best to help you plan your visit.

Entrances & movement inside

Some parts of a historic pub may include changes in level, narrower routes or busier walkways at peak times. If step-free access, seating near the entrance or extra space would help, please call ahead so the team can advise you before you arrive.

Seating

We have a mix of traditional pub seating. If you need a more suitable table, easier access to your seat, space for a mobility aid or a quieter position, let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate you.

Toilets

Toilet access can be important when planning a visit. Please contact us before arriving if you need details about toilet location, steps, doorway access or whether the facilities will be suitable for your needs.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome. If you are visiting with an assistance dog and would like a quieter table or extra space, please let the team know when you arrive or call us before your visit.

Getting here

The Glebe is located on Glebe Street in Stoke-on-Trent, a short walk from Stoke-on-Trent railway station. Town parking is available nearby, but availability and charges may vary.

Busy times & live music

The pub can be busier and louder during live music, quiz nights, weekends and special events. If you prefer a quieter visit, please call ahead and we can advise on the best time to come in.
